In early 2023 I got inspired by the idea of mixing two animals together. For reasons unknown even to me, this piece includes the mix of a lion and octopus. I was intrigued of the idea of trying to mimic the art conservation painting technique called “Tratteggio” which means “to hatch”. For that reason the whole piece was constructed using small lines. It stood proudly as my phone’s cover screen.
